Coalition Partners

Ventura Climate Coalition

Ventura Climate Coalition (VCC) supports the 350 Ventura County Climate Hub’s mission to grow the climate movement in Ventura County in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We are part of a growing coalition working both independently and collaboratively to accelerate climate action. Our focus is the City of Ventura and we collaborate with other cities and climate organizations where we can increase our impact.

Poison Free Conejo Valley

Poison Free Conejo Valley was created to provide education to members of our community and help them identify safe alternatives to rodent poisons. Rat poison is wildlife poison because rodenticides travel UP the food chain. Our vision is to live in a community where children, pets, urban wildlife and nature are safe from the effects of rodenticides.

Community Environmental Council

The Community Environmental Council builds on-the-ground momentum to reverse the threat of the climate crisis. They work to create a vibrant and resilient Central Coast region that advances rapid and equitable environmental solutions, where people thrive in balance with nature.

Climate First: Replacing Oil & Gas

Climate First: Replacing Oil & Gas (CFROG) is dedicated to combating the climate crisis by working to shape the transition from fossil fuels to a carbon-free economy on California's Central Coast. We are committed to the establishment of an economy that is sustainable, inclusive, and promotes renewable energy and good jobs. We strive to empower Ventura County residents to become involved in the decision-making process by attending meetings, submitting public comment, organizing, and speaking to friends and neighbors. We strive to change who gets heard during this necessary transition away from fossil fuels.

350 Ventura County Climate Hub

The 350 Ventura County Climate Hub is building a local climate movement to transition from fossil fuels to clean energy and grow a local food system. Our vision is just and resilient communities in Ventura County.

Ventura County Citizens’ Climate Lobby

Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization. We focus on a specific piece of legislation and a proven strategy to gain its passage. We are working for the passage of Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.

The Chalice Climate Action Team, (CCAT) is committed to connecting with others for actions in the following areas:

  1. Education of our spirit, heart and mind.

  2. Advocacy to share climate concerns with decision makers.

  3. Witness/protest with others in strikes, marches and demonstrations.

Our Mission Statement is: Respecting the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part, the Chalice Climate Action Team educates ourselves and connects with others to advocate for a just and sustainable future for life on Earth.
